Riley is from the Blackwater Clan, the mermaids who live in the darkest depths of the ocean. Feared for their ruthlessness, Blackwaters are the deadliest mermaids in the sea. They are the only mermaids to eat other Aquan species, namely their archenemy who live directly above them, the Bleuwaters.

UNDER Synopsis:
Riley is a deadly Aquan (“mermaid” in human language) who lives in the darkest depths of the ocean with the Blackwaters, her vicious clan known for its assassins and spies. When Riley is chosen to retrieve a rogue Blackwater on land in the heart of Boston, her plans go awry when two human brothers, Aiden and Max Grey, accidentally catch her in their yacht fishing net.

While Riley attempts to complete her dangerous mission, she struggles between her new human emotions and her fierce Aquan instinct. Enigmatic and fearless Aiden affects her in a way she’s never felt before. But time is running short, and if Riley fails her mission, neither she nor Aiden will survive.
